From laser cutting drawing to finished quote in three steps
Files your laser RFQ already contains
Start with STEP or JT models, DXF or DWG drawings, and supporting PDFs. The available calculation detail follows the geometry in the file: a drawing with missing material or thickness information may need review before the quote goes out.
For parts that need bending after cutting, the same quote can account for forming operations. Tube and profile laser work has its own tube and profile quoting workflow.
Keep your ERP and laser CAM in the loop
The Edge Connector transfers confirmed quote information to manufacturing systems. Supported connections include Ridder IQ, MKG and Bemet for ERP, plus TruTops Fab and other CAM systems. Integration scope depends on your existing setup.
Quotation Factory estimates nesting for the quote. Your production CAM software remains responsible for final cutting programs and production nesting.
Laser cutting estimating software: cost per part, not per sheet
A per-sheet price hides what each part really costs. Estimating from the geometry gives every part its own cutting length, pierces, machine time and share of the nested sheet.
